Our transmedia project is awarded the 2013 CIRTEF Grand Prix
Our transmedia project “Voyages au bout de la nuit, dans les coulisses de la création” was awarded the 2013 CIRTEF Multimedia Grand Prix.
The digital component of the television series “Voyages au bout de la nuit” (Travels to the end of the night) targets as much the general public as students in film and television. It allows all to discover the intricate daily reality of the production of a documentary television series being shot throughout the world, at night. We bring forward the tasks and challenges of the crew that made this series possible.
This is one more recognition from the industry, following the recent nomination of the project at the 2013 Gala des Prix Gémeaux earlier in the Fall.
Awarded annually, this award aims to reward radio, television and/or internet productions that distinguish themselves by their overall quality in content and form, but also by the originality of the subject. This year, submissions came from over 10 countries, and the jury was composed of France Télévisions, the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, RFI and CIRTEF.
Composed of broadcasters from 32 countries, the CIRTEF is an international cooperation association between the North and the South. Their mandate is to promote the role of radio and television as drivers of collectivity development. Its actions aim to help North-South relations with mutual collaboration in management, production and technical experience by putting together diverse training programs.
“This project is the result of a tight collaboration between Toast Studio, InformAction Films and TV5 Québec Canada. The broadcaster’s support was key in make all platforms to tie in together, both content-wise and technology-wise.” explains Alexandre Gravel, producteur.
